Teaching the History of St. Patrick’s Day in Early Elementary

Amidst the fun, shamrock themed games and the wearing of green, why not take time for a short history lesson with your 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders this March!

Here is a resource that will teach students the history of a man named Maewynn who later became known as Saint Patrick. Once completed, students will have their own personal 7 page mini-book all about the history of St. Patrick’s Day.
